Vanilla Buttercream Icing
Perfect Buttercream Icing for cake decorating!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 tbsp milk
- 3 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Beat room temperature butter on medium low until creamed.
- Add salt and mix. While mixing, add in vanilla and milk.
- Add powdered sugar 1/2 cup at time. Mixing after every addition. Ensure powdered sugar is thoroughly incorporated.
- Once all powdered sugar is mixed, you are all set!
Notes
- Yields approximately 16 ounces of icing.
- If you need a little stiffer icing, you can add in powdered sugar for stiffer frosting.
