Vanilla Buttercream Icing

Perfect Buttercream Icing for cake decorating!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Beat room temperature butter on medium low until creamed.
  • Add salt and mix. While mixing, add in vanilla and milk.
  • Add powdered sugar 1/2 cup at time. Mixing after every addition. Ensure powdered sugar is thoroughly incorporated.
  • Once all powdered sugar is mixed, you are all set!

Notes

  • Yields approximately 16 ounces of icing.
  • If you need a little stiffer icing, you can add in powdered sugar for stiffer frosting.
